Last Friday was the opening for Bernie Wrightson’s & Steve Niles’ “Something Spooky” show at Guzu gallery. I was really excited and honored to participate and very happy to have been able to attend. The drive was long but worth it. I had the honor to meet the great Bernie Wrightson.

I am finally able to share with you what I created for this show. I wanted to do a classic story from the vaults of the horror genre. I had gone through several different concepts and stories before finally settling on the infamous story “The Rats in the Walls” by H. P. Lovecraft.

For the show I brought in both prints and the actual, inked piece. The original ink measures around 11″ x 17″ x 3/8″ and is ink on Hot Press mounted board. The prints are an edition of 35. They are a 2 color silkscreen, sized 16″ x 24.”
